Group Service Manager

Who we’re looking for:

GROUP SERVICE MANAGER FOR OUR CORPORATE OFFICE IN BELLEVUE, WA.

Around here, we love people. The more, the merrier. Not surprisingly, we’re big on groups—and we need someone to help make our group functions go off without a hitch. As Group Service Manager, you are the liaison between group sales, event clients and hotel staff. You will also be responsible for everything from initial group contact (via the National Sales Manager) all the way through group departure from the hotel. People-people wanted.

What to expect:

Here are a few things that will make your days full and rewarding:

  1. Coordinating and organizing all details of group room reservations (receiving rooming lists, monitoring group pick up, billing, etc.).
  2. Coordinating and organizing meeting room setup to meet client expectations.
  3. Confirming all room blocks and event related information with clients. Conducting pre-conference meetings with clients to confirm all relevant details are communicated and accurate.
  4. Acting as the client’s main point of contact for all meetings and banquet functions assisting with menu selections and ensuring that events are flawlessly executed.
  5. Cross-communicating with on-site hotel teams for information distribution and execution of on-site events.
  6. Handling the pricing and booking of small meetings and events from inquiries received through various lead channels.

Your experience and qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  2. Minimum one year of experience in managing/planning events.
  3. Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service in a service environment.
  4. Strong organizational, problem solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Excellent customer service, conflict resolution and communication skills.
  6. Familiar with Google and Microsoft Office products.
  7. Hotel front Desk, Reservations or Sales Coordinator experience preferred.
  8. Team oriented, collaborative and detail oriented.
  9. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and utilize multiple systems and processes.
